Comedy Funnel - New style SS
The Comedy Funnel is a classic comedy prop with a wide variety of possible routines, as popular today as it was a few centuries ago when originally conceived.
One popular presentation is to have an audience helper on stage, have him drink a glass of water and have the water flow out through the funnel from his mouth, ears, elbow, or where ever you wish. Yet another very effective presentation is to have a spectator on stage and pretend to Brain Wash him. Spectator is seated on a chair with two plastic tubes held by him, one to each ear. Liquid is apparently poured into one ear (use a liquid vanishing prop like a Milk Jug, Foo Can or Wonder Glass,) and emerges through the other ear from the funnel. This sort of presentation has scope for a lot of comedy, calling up a volunteer with a "dirty mind" and Brain washing him. Yet another funny scenario involves milking an Invisible Cow. You apparently milk the cow into the funnel, with the milk turning visible as it emerges. Or blow up a latex glove, and "milk" this through the funnel.
There have been several models of this, made in various metals and plastic, and some variations to the original concept. We have produced various models over latest three decades, and we now bring you this model with some very special features.
This model is made from stainless steel, not tin, aluminum or plated brass. As the funnel is used with liquids, stainless steel is completely immune to rust, flaking or other reactions. Just wipe it clean after use, with soft cloth or tissue, and it will retain its gleaming silver finish.
This funnel has a very big advantage in use, as you do not have to keep the air hold covered with your thumb, as in the classic model. A simple automatic locking valve arrangement enables you to pick this up and perform this any time, and even use it as a running gag if you wish. You could pick up this Funnel at any time in your act, display it freely as empty, then have liquid pour from it as and when you wish. You can have part of the liquid pour out, display the funnel empty, place it on your table or any place you choose (or even hand it to a spectator to hold), then have it pour some more liquid when you choose.
